Wia powers the future of the Internet of Things by enabling devices to communicate with one another in a simple, easy way. We take care of the messy cloud infrastructure and expose a globally available cloud API that developers can interact with to build intelligent and complex applications. We aim to offer our product at a competitive price to meet the demand of small-to-medium businesses in the hardware industry. We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to build out our products. This is a full-time permanent role based out of our new office in Dublin.

You’ll:

• Work across the whole stack and a typical day may see you picking up some Javascript, working on an API, debugging an application or building out a new microservice.

• Be involved in the full life cycle of the products.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Prior experience doing software development for a technology company.

• Demonstrable experience of engineering projects that you’ve delivered.

• Minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• A team player who helps others grow and improve.

• Experience deploying production code.

• Strong grasp of technology and IoT.
