Role : Java Swing Developer Intern

Location : Dublin, Ireland

Salary : As per industry standards

Experience : Min 6 to 12 Months

Technical Requirements:

• 6+ Months of hands-on experience with Java Desktop Application. The candidate must be able to answer tough questions on these languages.
• Experienced with Java Swing, JAVAFX, JDBC, Hibernate
• Experience in translating high level design into user friendly detailed design and be able to implement it with Swing Application.
• Able to integrate Swing Application with other technologies.
• Have good Java designing skills and be aware of design patterns
• Excellent Core Java Skills and understanding of MVC frameworks
• Very pro-active, delivery focus, strong experience on Agile programming
• Good knowledge of the JVM with an understanding of performance and memory optimization .
• Be strong with OOPS concepts. Strong OO design skills with good knowledge of object modelling and design patterns.
• Have hands-on experience in multi-threading and concurrency packages
• Have good understanding of data-structures and algorithms
• Open to new/different technologies.
• Relational database experience; ideally mySQL.
• Work independently following proper coding standards
• Previous working experience with Point of Sales system is an add on.
• Strong E-commerce background is an add on.
