Komeer is looking for a talented, committed and passionate Intern Back End-Developer to help us build our new global startup business. Details are:
 

• Take responsibility for maintenance and support of our PHP website
• Optimization of the website for maximum speed and scalability
• Working with front-end developer to integrate the user-facing elements with server side logic
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Working in a small team and can show responsibility and autonomy in the job.

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language, PHP and Javascript.
• Experience with SMS and Push Notification technologies such as Twilio
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems and environments
• Using AWS such as EC2 for the management of the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling the application to support load changes
• Administration of backups
• Familiar with Version Control Systems such as Git
• Expertise in Database Technologies and Data Modeling. Preferably experience with MySQL
• Desire and/or Experience working with mobile app development e.g. iOS, Android or Windows
• Java, Objective-C/Swift, C#/C++
• Unit Testing and taking accountability for quality of your work
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
