Time: 3-4 days per week (flexible scheduling around college or part time work) A 6 month role with real potential for paid position for the right candidate.

About The Works PR
We are a small Irish PR agency specialising in beauty and lifestyle brands. In an exciting period of expansion and change we are looking for an enthusiastic intern commited to learning all aspects of the public relations field. The individual will work closely alongside senior staff and learn the essentials of marketing and public relations.

This is not a paid position but we will cover agreed expenses.

The Candidate

Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills (written and oral) with a qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism.

A solid understanding of social media is required alongside knowledge of the beauty industry in Ireland; brands, publications, influencers etc.

The ideal candidate with be self-motivated, good organisational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is essential.

The Role

Includes but not limited to:

• Developing communication materials
• Building and maintaining press kits and databases
• Planning and executing meetings and events
• Social media management
• Preparing press drops
• General administration duties
• Online monitoring for clients featured
